Although strategic human resource research has been done extensively in India, we do find that research has not been done on strategic human resource research, top management perception on HR research, multi-cultural influences on HR research, cross cultural impact on HR practices research, employee engagement research, employee retention research, employee motivation research and employee benefits research.

As Indian HR research has not been progressive on Human resource development research, top management perception research, employee development research, employee training and development research and career development research. These dimensions have to be explored in Indian context empirically as there is less prevalence of it.
