ABDC Journal Services for Smarter Journal Selection & Publication

Publication in ABDC Journals is probably one of the toughest steps in business and management research. People rarely fail because of the quality of research; rather, it fails to meet expectations due to the wrong choice of journal, format, and readership of the manuscript. The thesis chapter, when submitted as a manuscript, wastes a lot of time. The comments from the reviewers come thick and in a different tone.

Since 2009, IdeaLaunch has been assisting research scholars. Our ABDC Journal services include ABDC Journal selection, manuscript readiness evaluation, academic editing, ABDC Journal format, submission, and reviewer comments response – all done by domain experts across our journal publication services.

Not a guarantee of acceptance. Not ghost authorship. Not cutting corners and putting your reputation on the line.

A*, A, B or C: Understanding ABDC Journal Ratings

The ABDC provides the Journal Quality List for business, management, and economics research papers. There are two points worth noting before you select your target.

  1. The ABDC is a peer-reviewed quality rating list, not an index – and whereas researchers tend to use the phrase “ABDC Indexed journals,” the correct terminology would be “ABDC rated journals.” A journal could be both ABDC rated and separately indexed in Scopus and/or WoS
  2. There is no A+ category on the ABDC journal categories, contrary to what several publishing support websites claim.

A* Journals

A* is the highest quality rating in the ABDC journal quality ratings system and is typically indicative of highly respected journals in the respective research disciplines.

A Journals

A-rated journals are respected journals and can be considered potential outlets for high-quality research if there is a good fit to the particular journal.

B Journals

B-rated journals are respected journals and can be considered potential outlets depending on the particular research area and manuscript quality.

C Journals

C-rated journals are also ranked in the ABDC quality rankings system and can potentially be used depending on the particular research topic and other factors.

What Is the Best ABDC Journal Rating for You?

Not everyone requires the highest possible ABDC rating – your optimal journal rating must be determined by a number of factors, including the suitability of the journal in relation to your research, contribution, methodology, and manuscript readiness.

Eight Factors We Assess Before Recommending an ABDC Journal

Eight criteria are evaluated during evaluation of your research-targeted ABDC journals to find out which ABDC journal suits your research, manuscript and publishing goals.

Research Scope

Comparison of your research area with the journal’s goals, scope, and recently published papers will decrease the chances of scope-based desk rejection.

ABDC Rating & Field of Research

We will check the current ABDC rating and Field of Research classification of the journal to make sure it corresponds to your academic standards.

Article Type

We will check that the journal publishes articles of your manuscript type – empirical, conceptual, review paper writing , methodological, or case.

Research Contribution

We will determine whether the theoretical/empirical/methodological or contextual contribution of your paper fits with the requirements of the journal.

Methodology Allignment

We assess the match between your research methodology and the methodologies generally used in the target journal.

Recent Publications

We examine recent publications in order to see the topical relevance, methodology patterns, and proof that the journal publishes research like yours. This is the same evidence base that informs our literature review writing services.

Author Guidelines

We confirm word count, manuscript organization, citation style, ethical requirements, and other instructions to facilitate our journal recommendation.

Publication Conditions

We investigate publication charges, open access policy, review process, submission requirements, and other factors that will help in making a well-informed decision about the journal.

ABDC Journal Support From Selection to Reviewer Response

We offer end-to-end ABDC journal services, including journal selection, manuscript development, submission, and response to reviewers.

Journal Selection

The ideal ABDC journals are found through various aspects, including your research topic, discipline, methodology, manuscript type, journal scope, recent publications, guidelines, and publication objectives. The same selection discipline underpins all our journal publication support, whether your target is ABDC-rated, Scopus indexed or Q1

Manuscript Assesment

Evaluation of your manuscript in terms of its structure, research gap, methodology, results, discussions, references, academic integrity, and suitability for journal submission is provided. Where the evaluation identifies development needs, our manuscript writing services can take the work forward.

Academic Editing

Improvement in academic language, grammar, clarity, consistency, structure, and other important aspects without compromising the core findings. This work is delivered by the same editorial team behind our research paper editing services and proofreading and editing support.

Formatting

Formatting of your manuscript according to the specifications of the chosen journal, covering structure, references, citations, tables, figures, and word limit — the same standard applied across our journal paper writing services

Submission Preparation

Preparation of the manuscript, cover letter, authors’ details, declarations, supplementary materials, and other documents needed during the submission process. A plagiarism check before submission is recommended and can be added at this stage.

Reviewer Response

We assist you in organizing the comments made by the reviewers, planning your revisions, improving your paper, and formulating a point-by-point response. Substantive rewriting arising from reviewer feedback is handled through our research paper writing services.

Rejection Analysis

We analyze any information regarding the rejection of your paper and help you decide whether to revise, reposition, or submit elsewhere. Where repositioning is the right call, we assess alternative routes including SCI indexed and Q1 journal options alongside other ABDC-rated titles.

From Research Assessment to ABDC Journal Submission

We offer end-to-end ABDC journal services, including journal selection, manuscript development, submission, and response to reviewers.

STEP-01

Tell Us About Your Research Requirements

Send us your manuscript, thesis chapter or abstract with your field of study, desired rating band, deadline and institutional requirements. We determine scope and timeline – including letting you know where you need less help than you thought.

STEP-02

Assessment of Readiness and Shortlisting of Journals

Readiness assessment and journal shortlisting are done simultaneously since readiness always refers to a particular journal. You will get one report comprising the diagnostic report and journal shortlist.

STEP-03

Improve Your Manuscript

We focus on contribution clarity, positioning, sequencing of structure, research methodology, and academic writing from the prioritized report. Each change made is recorded and approved by you.

STEP-04

Prepare the Manuscript for Submission

We format your manuscript according to the journal’s specifications and prepare the submission pack with the portal checklist. The submission is done through the journal by you as the author.

STEP-05

React to Editorial or Reviewer Comments

On receipt of the decision, we interpret it with you, prepare the revision, and write the point-by-point response letter. In case of desk rejection, we proceed directly to diagnosis and re-targeting.
